Select FYH Bearing Housings Based on Installation Scenarios

FYH provides a full range of bearing housings with different forming structures to fit diverse mechanical assembly layouts. The matching relations between housing types, codes and applicable scenarios are shown in the table below:

FYH Housing TypeCodeApplicable Equipment Scenarios
Standard Pillow BlockPGeneral conveyors, regular transmission equipment for horizontal base mounting
Heavy-Duty Thick Pillow BlockIPMining machinery, lifting equipment working under persistent shock and heavy loads
Narrow Pillow BlockPACompact assembly lines with limited base width
High-Center Pillow BlockPHEquipment with pipes or supports under shafts requiring elevated shaft height to avoid interference
Lightweight Pillow BlockLPIntermittent light-load small machinery
Stamped Steel Pillow BlockPPMini lightweight automated equipment for low-load applications
Square Flange Block / Boss Square Flange BlockF / FSVertical installation on equipment side plates; boss design facilitates precise hole positioning
Oval Flange Block / Offset Oval BlockFL / FANarrow lateral mounting space; adjustable support position for slight calibration
Round Cartridge Block with BossFCRoller ends, machinery with prefabricated circular mounting holes
Take-Up Block SeriesTBelt conveyors and rollers; allows axial adjustment of shaft center; compensates thermal elongation of long shafts
Cartridge BlockCFree ends of transmission shafts to absorb axial expansion caused by temperature changes
Hanger BlockHASuspended transmission equipment for pipes and coiling materials

For general machinery with horizontal bases, the standard P pillow block is the first choice. Equipment operating under heavy shock loads shall adopt IP thickened housings. If the mounting width is restricted, PA narrow-type housings are suitable. Vertical installation on equipment side plates shall select F square or FL oval blocks. For long shaft structures, install one fixed bearing and equip the other end with T take-up block or C cartridge block to eliminate extra axial stress generated by thermal expansion.
