VinaPack Industries Co., Ltd. is one of Vietnam's top suppliers of integrated packaging machinery and materials. Their main manufacturing base is located in the Binh Duong Province industrial park near Ho Chi Minh City. As a mega fully-automated factory with an annual capacity of hundreds of millions of units, their machines run almost non-stop. However, Vietnam’s high temperature and humidity, combined with high-speed operations and frequent start-stops, put immense stress on their bearings.

First, bearings on the conveyor systems, folding/sealing mechanisms, and precision positioning parts were wearing out way too fast, essentially becoming "disposable items." Second, the food-grade packaging lines required strict hygiene standards, but ordinary bearings risked grease leakage and potential contamination. Most frustratingly, whenever a bearing failed, the entire line ground to a halt. Instead of just pushing part numbers, our technical and supply chain teams started with the actual operating environment to build a comprehensive solution.

For heavy-duty and high-speed sections, we introduced SKF Explorer performance bearings to handle high-intensity workloads and drastically extend service life. For food contact lines, we upgraded the machinery to SKF Food Line stainless steel ball bearing units. These units withstand high-pressure washdowns, resist corrosion, and strictly comply with food safety standards, completely eliminating contamination worries. To handle the hot and humid conditions, we utilized SKF sealed spherical roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings, which feature advanced internal sealing that cuts out the need for frequent re-greasing. For high-precision positioning, we brought in SKF Super-precision bearings to ensure flawless, consistent packaging movements.

Beyond the hardware upgrades, our engineers flew directly to the Binh Duong factory to conduct on-site equipment audits and guide the selection process hand-in-hand. To ease the client’s financial and storage burden, we established a VMI (Vendor-Managed Inventory) mechanism. We now stock high-frequency specifications right in our Singapore warehouse and leverage highly efficient cross-border logistics to deliver to Vietnam within 24 to 48 hours. Furthermore, we conducted on-site SKF installation training and preventive maintenance coaching, teaching the shop-floor operators how to use the Bearing Assist tool to eliminate early damage caused by improper installation.


After a period of implementation, the client shared some fantastic performance data with us.

Unplanned downtime on critical production lines dropped by approximately 45%, making daily operations much smoother. The average lifespan of the bearings was extended by more than 2 times, which caused spare parts procurement costs to plummet.
